The amazing power of colours!

Colours have an ability to affect our mood. There is a close relationship between colours and happiness. It affects our moods(subconsciously) - blue is calming - red can make us tense.

Colour Therapy should not be something you just go to a therapist to 'have done to you'. Colour is everywhere and should be utilized as part of our everyday life.

There are a few ways in which you could use the beneficial effects of colours to help you:

1.)Take a “colour bath.”
This relaxing method allows you to bathe your body in the energy wavelength of the chosen colour. Organic products are available that color the bath water and don’t stain your skin.

2.)Use creative visualization to picture colourful scenes for your desired effect.
For example, if you would like to feel calm, picture lush greenery.

3.)Use coloured lightbulbs.

4.)Wear clothings of that particular colour/colours.
What you choose to wear affects your own body/mind/emotions while sending a message to those who see you.
