Here's some tips on dealing with exam stress:
1.) Do some deep breathing exercises.
It sounds very simple, but it really works wonders! Try going to bed at least 5 minutes earlier than usual and spend the time taking SLOW and DEEP breathes. Ypu will wake up feeling much more refreshed and you will be able to think and concentrate better.
2.) Visualize.
Close your eyes and 'see' a movie of yourself doing the exam/test in the perfect conditions, having no problems at all. Do this at least 5 minutes a day and repeat two or three times throughout the day. It's best to do it before you go to bed and just after wa,king up as the mind is in a more relaxed state to accept your visualization as being 'real' and soon, it will be real!
3.) Drink more water
Drink plenty of water to replenish the body and mind.
4.) Positive Self -Statements
Use positive self statements(either in writing or say it out loud or to yourself). It's a very underrated strategy not just for exam stress but for ever other aspect of your lives. Positive statments repreated often would 'sink in' our subconciuos mind, providing a seemingly amazing positive change in behaviour. For exam stress, try saying, 'I am calm and relaxed', 'I am totally focused at doing well in all exams'.
